Your doctor has requested that you have an examination that will determine whether you have osteoporosis.

1. There is no prep for this examination.
2. Please wear socks and shoes for this examination. (no nylons)
3. You will sit on a chair and immerse your feet in water. Information will be obtained with the use of ultrasound.
4. The procedure will take 5-10 minutes.
